Dr. Galland is the co-author of The Allergy Solution: The Surprising, Hidden Truth about Why You Are Sick and How to Get Well, with his son Jonathan Galland, JD. In this groundbreaking book, he explores the shocking rise of asthma, sinusitis and food allergies, and reveals the hidden allergies that lead to unexplained weight gain, anxiety, fatigue, ADHD, depression, digestive problems, and much more. Astonishing new research shows how each of these is linked to the immune imbalance that is at the root of allergy. Dr. Galland believes in empowering people to balance immunity through a nutritional and lifestyle program that reduces allergic reactivity, decreases toxic exposures, improves antioxidant status and restores a healthy microbiome. To educate people in their understanding of the severity of the allergy epidemic and to help them recognize the impact that allergies play in their own lives, Dr. Galland appears on a PBS special.

Dr. Galland has contributed extensively to world medical literature with over 40 scientific articles in journals, such as JAMA. His latest article is “The Gut Microbiome and the Brain.”  He is the author of chapters for medical textbooks including Integrative Gastroenterology, Textbook of Functional Medicine,  ACP Evidence-Based Guide to Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Complementary Medicine in Clinical Practice,  Encyclopedia of Human Nutrition,  the Textbook of Natural Medicine,   Integrative Medicine, Principles for Practice,  Inside the Minds: The Art & Science of Being a Doctor,  Post-Viral Fatigue Syndrome,  and Workers with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.
